Checked mine and no problems. But, according to the recall, the subharness still needs to be installed.
The subharness seems to be a couple of relays for each of the signal lights. Does anyone know?

Mine checks out OK too. It sounds like it may have relays for each turn signal and the brake lights. It also mentions connecting the fuse end to the BCM. So, I figure that if there is a short in the wiring on the trailer, it may kick the fuse so that you don't have a fire situation. Sounds logical to me.

That's what I figured. Problem with me is, I've spliced into the turns signals at the BCM, and don't want the dealer to see it and tell me my warranty is void. Do you think the dealer will just give me the subharness?

Had the truck in to dealership today to replace rear axle seal and they also replaced this subharness due to recall bulletin. Per my previous post, the voltages at the 7 pin connector checked several days previous were correct.

rjspitz, concerning your concern about your modifications, might hit the dealer up about not being able to leave truck for them to replace subharness and after you personally replace it, will give them the original to prove that the recall was performed. Good luck.

Oh, so it's a replacement. I thought it was an additional harness between the main harness and BCM. thnx for the tip, I'll try it.

It looks like it is is only a 2 hour job based on the paperwork supplied by Nissanhelp.com. I added the factory hitch after we bought the truck so I will need to call and see what they tell me.....Here's wishing they do it.

I have a feeling my truck is the first one they have done at this dealership.
