Mass Air Flow Sensor

I have been posting in a thread for rev limiting problems and have been told by a couple people my MAF Sensor needs to be replaced. It may need to be replaced, as I have tried cleaning it, Does the code need to be reset in order for the truck to "accept" the sensor so I can determine if cleaning the sensor has fixed my problem? Do I need to do something different?
If not, does anyone know the where abouts or specific brands that should be used to replace the MAF? Looking for a little experience on this one guys help me out if you can thanks.

Don't know if it will solve your problem but it is easy and free.
