I have a problem...looking for answers!

My '04 TITAN has been giving me problems lately. Most recently my rear end. I have a really loud "Klunk" in the rear when i go to accelerate from a stop and i have even been noticing it when i am decelerating to a stop. Some of my buds say it sounds like the U-joint. Any opinions or similar stories out there? I have it set to go in Monday morning, gonna have the tech ride with me.

JB

Well, it could be the differential....OR it could be something as easy as ur toolbox in the back, the little tray moving around. I dont know if u got the storage in the rear drivers side but there are some stories of people hearing that move around and well its a thought...

one ?, do you have the utili-track system? if so, then it is probably the covers for the tracks that are on the bed. they tend to slide back and forth, subsequently, they hit the tailgate when taking off and hit the front of the bed when braking. hope that is all that it is. good luck and let us know.
