HVAC problems

I've been having an intermittent problem with my hvac controls. I have a 05 CC with the NAV system and about a month ago the controls started acting rather strangely. I can't replicate it with any consistency but this is what happens;
On startup, most times, all works as it should but after a short while 15min maybe 20 I'll turn the fan speed dial and it'll take up to 7sec for the change to register on the NAV screen and actually change the speed. At this point the air flow selector, defroster and AC controls all start to exhibit the same strange delay in engaging. At other times this seems to happen as soon as I start the truck. I asked the dealer to look into this however they say “ they can't replicate the issue” Any thoughts??
