Angry Connell Nissan in Costa Mesa - Southern California

I took my truck in for brake judder (permanent fix), fuel gauge issue (I posted the problem here in previous post), "squeeky" on the rear.

First, I made appointment for Monday. I told the service advisor the problem and the time I want to drop the truck off. In addition, I told him 3 times that please write down or put in the computer what need to be done on my truck.
Monday morning I came to drop my truck off. The service guy didn't write down the problem. I had to explain everything again to another guy.

Finally, I came to pickup my truck. I checked the fuel gauge and it still had problem. I came in and politely, again politely told the service guy (Frank) that I still see problem with the fuel gauge. After 15 min waiting for his response, these are exact words came from his pie hole to the service engineer "Check his DAMM fuel gauge. It is not working again."

Am I too sensitive? I never go to that dealer again.
I want to talk to the manager but everyone has to work to put food on the table so I ignored it.

Since I wasn't there and maybe someone pee'd in his Cheerios that morning but you just don't say things like that in front of customers. I would have questioned him right there on the spot just to see what kind of reaction I got back. Did the problem eventually get fixed and how was he when you finally got your truck back?

Re: Connell Nissan in Costa Mesa - Southern California

I just walked out. I will take the truck to a different dealer to get it fix. I don't want to deal with that dealer ever again. I bought my truck there.

I didn't want to make a scene there because it was a long day for me and I just want to get my truck to go home. I didn't want to leave my truck there and find another transportation home.

I feel ya bro, I have had my fuel gauge changed twice and it still don't work. The first time the dam mechanic didnt snap the fuel line all the way and a day later I had a major gas leak and was told " Sorry, Accidents happen".

Try another dealer and see what happends. To me it looks like the So Cal dealers are a bunch of A-holes..
