ABS sensors are bad because of installed lift kit

Hi Titan lovers
Just got my new titan about 3-4 months ago and got a 6 inch FABTECH lift installed. My ABS sensor light came on the other day and brought it to the finishing shop who installed the lift. Apparently, the ABS sensor cables had been rubbing on the lift kit during turns causing it to wear away. The customizing shop told me to drive 40 miles to see my dealer because it didnt leave the shop like that. Well i get to my dealership and they told me it was the customizing shops responsbility. Now they have ordered the part and are suppose to install it soon. They still havent called though. Has anyone ever experienced anything similar to this?

Re: ABS sensors are bad because of installed lift kit

I have read where the cable was touching the exhaust and got burn through.
Is the dealer replacing it under warranty? If not you can do it yourself, the cable is about $25 a piece.

Re: ABS sensors are bad because of installed lift kit

its the fault of the shop who installed the lift kit if you ask me...that would not have happened if the lift wasn't there so whoever installed it should have taken the time to properly secure it before letting you drive off...
