Attached is the official list of the NHSTA reported failures of the rear differential reported on this website. If you have had a failure and it is not listed on this attached list, please reply to this thread with your complaint number. Also, reply with the information that is related to the information requested in the column headings.

If you have had a rear end failure and have not reported it to the NHSTA, please go to the website below and follow the directions to "File a Complaint."

Where are your complaint numbers people? I bet about 40% of the rear diff posts on this site are trollers. Why is there such a low number of complaints where it counts?

ok i got 3 for ya.first replacement 10148934 second 10153086 and the third 1015305x i didnt write this one down yet but when it registers ill use the search and my vin to get you the correct/complete number.

No I haven't. But I am concerned that if the problem is legit, then the people who are complaining about it here should follow through so it can benefit all current Titan owners.

Another Titan Rear Diff Bites It

1) 2004 Titan CC LE
2) 4WD
3) OffRoad
4) E-Locker
5) 25,500 miles at time of failure
6) Only diff failures this far
7) Yes, about 2000 towing miles
8) 5000lb travel trailer
9) Not hilly
10) Brakes machined, then replaced.

I posted mine a long time ago before we got together to post on in the "Driveline: Differential Unit" catagory. I went back to look up my number and found it under the "Axle Assemblty" catagory. I also put jboth of my failures under the same complaint. I called the 1-888 number and someone is to call me back to see what I need to do. I was scared to make a complaint under both catagories unless the said it was OK. When they call me back I will see what they have to say. Here is my complaint # 10143873.
