Driveline Slop in '06
I just bought an 06 cc le 4x2, has 1600 miles on it now.
I have slop/slip in driveline, BUT only after it has warmed up...first bit of driving is tight and unnoticeable. After that it's pretty obvious...I can feel it at some stops, but definetly every take-off...slow or fast. This has me thinking it would be a rubber part (trans mount) or possibly the transmission itself? I know there is a rubber bushing carrying the two-piece driveshaft, but that's to isolate vibration...I believe. Maybe this is normal in a truck with this type of driveline, not sure...I have been driving vw and honda sports cars for the last 10 years.
I have an appointment this weekend to have a Nissan tech ride with me....we'll see what happens. Anyone have luck getting a loner without buying the 'extended warranty option?
Thanks,
rtb
