Arrow Radiator Fluid Spewing on engine

2004 Titan XE...

I was wondering if this has happend to anyone else and why it would happen. I'm assuming I just need to tighten that clamp around the hose or get a new stronger one. The cap is tight... any way to more efficiently connect that hose or modify the system?

Re: Radiator Fluid Spewing on engine

There's a few posts on that problem. Most of the solutions were to replace the radiator cap. Also, a few had a bad reservoir cap. Oh, and one had a clogged reservoir line.

is the reservoir line that thing i took a pic of? Would a clog make it come from there because it doesnt look to be coming from the cap... im waiting for my engine to cool down before i check the caps integrity

Re: Radiator Fluid Spewing on engine

If you look closely at your pic, I think it is a problem with the cap. Just stop by the dealer and get a cap under warranty.

Re: Radiator Fluid Spewing on engine

They know of problems with the cap because they changed mine under warranty a while ago.

Re: Radiator Fluid Spewing on engine

I had the exact same problem. Dealer replaced the cap. Then they replaced the clamp for the lower tranny cooler line. It had a small leak.

While your at it I'd go ahead and replace the clamp by the radiator cap. Those stock clamps suck.

Re: Radiator Fluid Spewing on engine

This beast takes wayyyy too long to cool down. I tried to open it and its still too hot. (overflowing)

Re: Radiator Fluid Spewing on engine

I just took mine in today for the same problem. They replaced the cap and fixed the problem. The first time I stopped at the dealership(Winchester,VA, 1.5 hours from my address),they wouldn't give me a cap without looking at it unless I paid for it out of my own pocket. I didn't have an hour to wait so I had to reschedule for today. Why couldn't they just give me the cap last week?? Especially since they know about the problem? I guess that's why you buy local.

Re: Radiator Fluid Spewing on engine

I noticed the same thing in my engine bay, just was worried about what they would say about my Cold Air Intake. Don't want them to give me any problems with my warranty.
