Unhappy Crappy noise at low rpms

Ok, well since ive had the windows down because its SOO nice out i have been hearing this really crappy hollowed out metal sound when i accelerate at REALLY low RPMs, and just when the gas is pressed down ever so slightly, it sounds like its coming from the drivetrain, (obviously). idk what to do it how to check that and i really dont feel like going to monroe (my dealership) for this issue... im SURE its somthing loose. Any suggestions on what it is?

Thanks,
Ditch

Re: Crappy noise at low rpms

Heat shield on the exhaust? Belly pan under the fuel tank? Misc. undercarrage brackets? Fender support brackets? Wheelwell plastic?....have the old lady hang on to the bottom of your truck and drive around, she'll point out any obtuse noises....give her a pair of plyers and she can tighten up anything loose while she under there.

Re: Crappy noise at low rpms

They have electronic listening devices where they can put sensors at various locations under your truck and switch between them to find out the source of a noise. The dealer found a bearing noise coming from my front diff using that device.
