I got in my truck tonight and started it up and my odometer didnt light up! Also all the gauges are in off position, they dont budge. And my "tow mode" switch is on and I cannot turn it off, but I didnt turn it on. Whats up???? Please help, I'm at the end of my rope with this POS.
I try to read most of the posts, and yours is a new problem that I never saw discussed before. My guess would be a blown fuse, but have no idea why it blew.
I don’t know if this helps or not but when I was doing my radio install as I was setting things up with the stereo on but not the ignition, it drained my battery pretty quick and when I went to start the truck my gauges went crazy - like negative readings and needles bouncing around - you might check out your battery.
Also if you have anything plugged into your ODBII plug you should unplug that.
Just some ideas, hope you get it worked out, be sure to let us know what the problem turns out to be.

I just went through a fuse quest. There are three more rows in boxes behind the battery. One is hidden. In the big rear most box, you must un-clip the white plastic circuit board and pull it straight up to see another row of fuses in the middle.
Did not have the exact problem, but dash indicators would all go on and the traction control light would stay on. Had it into the dealers, for the brake etrofit and told them to check it out. They said if the brake fluid gets low it will cause strange things. Hard to believe, but have not had a problem since.
The manual calls out fuses 4, 14, & 19. Looks like the panel next to the glove box.
There is a self-test:
Turn ignition switch ON, while holding Odometer/Trip switch for 5-8 seconds. If the test is working, the odo meter will display tESt. Looks like pushing the button will advance to a new test. There appear to be a hundred of them getting data from each sensor. I think the first few just check the panel.
I'd do the dash test. While holding the trip reset button, turn the key to the ON position. This will go through a series of tests. Can't hurt to try it.
