Has anyone had a spark plug knock? I can hear it when I am next to a jersey
wall. I had the dealership look at it, they said "NO PROBLEM FOUND" I do not know what to do? I tried changing octane from 87 to 93. Any help would be
great.

I have heard some noisy lifters that could sound like knock. When do you hear the noise?

You're thinking of NON overhead cam engines. Overhead cam motors don't have lifters or pushrods.
No I'm not thinking of NON OHC. I don't have experience with those types of motors. There are in fact valve lifters (followers, buckets, whatever you want to call them) in OHC motors. Hondas are notorious for valve lifter noise.

One of the advantages of an overhead cam cylinder head is that it eliminates the need for certain valvetrain components. Mounting the camshaft in the cylinder head rather than the engine block eliminates the need for lifters and pushrods. On some OHC engines, the cam lobes run directly atop the valve stems. On others, cam followers or rockers and hydraulic lash adjusters are used to operate the valves.

A cam follower is also known as valve lifter. Didn't I say that in my previous post? OK, now I'm going to have it bust out the SM.
