Thanks for the info guys. I have asthma and it is hard for me to breathe in my truck. I gonna bring her down to dealership after work to have something sorted out. Yesterday they told me they couldn't see me till tuesday.

Nissan finally sent out their own technition to take a look at it an they told me that the leak was an unsealed bolt in the firewall.
So water is leaking along the helical thread of the unsealed bolts and flooding the cab? Maybe in a submarine at full test depth, but I find this unlikely in a truck driving around in the rain now and then.

Exactly. But the simple fact that they acknowledged that those items should have been sealed and were not leads me to believe that nothing was sealed properly.

Anyway, even after all of the fixes, it is still leaking and they don't have a clue as to where.

I love the truck, but my heart is not in this one anymore. Can't wait for a replacement...

Question Re: **water underneath the drivers side & passenger side seats**

[quote=37L1]mike,

Thanks to everyone on this. I just bought my 2006 Titan Crew 2 weeks ago today. I found this leak by accident but everyone had these helpful hints and I went searching. Found the leak and took digital pics of it. Am going to the dealer tmw for them to fix it after showing them the pics on Wednesday morning.

Only thing I'm worried about now is all the the other threads with various different leaks. Is this a wide spread problem or am I just hitting the wrong searches on this type of thing?

The A/C drain tube leak is widespread. I do not think the other leaks are.
I think it's unbelieveable that Nissan is still delivering 2006 models with this problem. It has been documented and they have known about it for at least 18 months.

You know the first thing I'll be doing with my new 06 is to remove the A/C drain spigot to check to check this.

Re: **water underneath the drivers side & passenger side seats**

Well I some what got this a/c leak fixed today. They told me it was a clogged drain. I did not have time to pull everything apart and see if they actually did the correct fix or not but I have beeing checking site for any more leakage.

If anyone want to know where the water was coming from I have a couple of good pics of it dripping.

Let me know and I can post them.

Re: **water underneath the drivers side & passenger side seats**

Ok All this is a problem that Nissan must fix. My Titan is not even 3 weeks old ( 2006 Titan Crew ) and I now have my second water problem.

First one was the A/C line. They seem to have fixed this on.

Second after a good rain storm last night and with all the problems I found here in the forum I now have my second water leak. Leak is in the Passenger Rear seat and along the door. Not sure if Im feeling things or not but Driver side rear feels damp also.

Does this leak point to the rear window or the seams? Seems like I have read both and am just wondering which direction I should point the service people.

Sounds like the rear window. Look behind your rear seat. There may be water soaked carpet there.

Re: **water underneath the drivers side & passenger side seats**

Yes found water there and along the passenger door. Guess I may have to crawl further in to feel right under the window but bet its wet.

Off to the dealer this week already told them to give me a loaner since the truck is so new.

I'll keep everyone informed as to my progress and thanks to all for the good information. Lucky for me all the info it here and I have somewhat of a heads up.

Re: **water underneath the drivers side & passenger side seats**

Well hopefully this is all for the water problems. Now I cant wait for rain.

After I got the A/C drain fixed I found the other leak. Well that leak turned out to be from the rear slide down window. They said its fixed and gave me some free car washes to go test it out. Hopefully this takes care of these water problems.

On to the next problem:

They chipped the paint off the front bumper! Then they said we'll the truck is dusty and its probably my fault. We duh the truck has been in a shower all day getting water tested. Oh well have to return to the dealer on friday for them to hopefully fix the chipped paint. We'll see what happens then.

Re: **water underneath the drivers side & passenger side seats**

This is a good topic to know. I heard what sounded like water running in my truck 2 nights ago during a storm. Got out and checked up front but found nothing. I will search the entire truck now.

Re: **water underneath the drivers side & passenger side seats**

just got my truck back from the dealer, they said they had to drain approx 1.5 gal of water from the ac drain line becuase it was getting clogged from debri, Fyi, if your using your a/c you can check if it is draining properly becuase you water should drip on the pass side underneath the vehicle.

well see over time .....
thanks for the responses....

Re: **water underneath the drivers side & passenger side seats**

Well just came back from the dealer. They fixed the ding they put into the truck on tuesday so I guess I can be happy about that.

I guess I can be sad/mad/pi$$ed that before I had them fix the dent I ran the truck through the car wash. Low and behold what did I find behind the seat. Water, Water everywhere. Guess they didnt get it fixed. We'll keep you posted as to what happens on Tuesday when they are suppose to fix it again.

Re: **water underneath the drivers side & passenger side seats**

Well all hopefully this was the last time to the dealer. They retested the truck for leaks and found a leak in the cargo light. Hopefully this corrects the problem with the water leaking in behind the rear seats.

Hope if you are all having simular problems this helps somewhat.

Thanks for listening.
