It didn't at the dealership and they said that they would talk to the tech in the morning because this guy tried it also and it wouldn't work. I tried it when I got moving on my street and it worked ok. Turned the truck off and tried it again, nothing, but when I started moving again it would work. I tried this several times and got the same results. If anybody else could check their truck and see if it works that way I would appreciate it.

Hey src4usarmy did you ever get your manual shift fixed.? I too have a problem (I believe) with my 05 Titan. Just bought it a couple days ago and was trying to get it to go into manual shift mode. Not real clear on how it works, but when i push the button nothing happens. It's my understanding that when you push the button, your gear selector display switches to M1,
M2, etc. Then you can shift with the button. Is this correct. Can you only enter manual shift mode once the vehicle is moving, or can you put it in manual shift from a stop? I haven't really got much (good) info from my regional dealership service dept.'s. Any input would be appreciated.
