Which of these problems will be covered under warranty?

I'll be taking my truck in for an oil change later this week and will also be bringing up a few other problems. There are a couple of them I'm not sure will be fixed under warranty or not...

-The left headlight gets full of condensation after any rain and stays that way for a week or so unless I do a lot of night driving with the headlights on.

-The paint below my steering wheel audio controls is beginning to chip off.

Other things that I'm sure will be covered, someone let me know if they won't be...

-Handle to open rear door (king cab) from the outside doesn't work

-The drivers side door seal is noisy at highway speed in the upper left corner of the window. If I press on it the sound goes away.

-My drivers door has water in it. When I slam it I can hear water swooshing around. It's been this way ever since we had some torrential rains 2 weeks ago.

I would think all but the chipping on the audio controls would be warrantied. Just my guess tho.

I think ive seen a post or 2 about the dealer replacing the audio controls because of the paint coming off, i could be mistaken though.

My dealer would cover all of them w/o any problem, assuming you didn't do anything to create the problems (e.g., messed up the door with a stereo install).

Re: Which of these problems will be covered under warranty?

I've seen posts where the headlamp bulbs keep blowing out from condensation...every one of the posters had changed to the new strobe type lights...meaning they removed the lens from the lamp.

Re-sealing it properly will correct the issue.

There may be a general crackdown soon inre to the Magnusson-Moss Act. I read recently that one major company (not Nissan) is going to state in upcoming new vehicle warranty booklets, that by lifting, adding performance chips, etc will void the warranty....on the entire vehicle.

The reason: Increased warranty costs.

My truck is completely stock, no stereo installs etc. Also, I'm going to send my gf in to get it done as the service dept is in love with her and will be pretty likely to fix it all under warranty. Heck she gets most of our oil changes free (she has a Titan too!).

I just had mine replaced and it was covered. I even had the black door pillar tape (It was pelling off) replaced and a dent fixed in it from the previous owner covered.

Talk about a decent service manager!

I have had my passenger side headlight replaced twice due to moisture problem (there's a TSB on it).
