Rubbing/Grinding sound when I turn in 4X4

When I turn sharp while the truck is in 4x4 high and low, there is a rubbing (I know its not my tires) sound and I have to accelerate more to make the turn. Whats up with this? Also, should my warranty cover this. I have 41k on my titan. Thanks and sorry if this has been posted=Rookie!

are you doing this on dry pavement?! that is a no no. IT is 4WD system not AWD. not meant to be used on dry pavement. what you are feeling is the extra effort the truck needs to turn the wheels. The 4WD is to be used in loose or snowy situations, not on pavement. NOT GOOD FOR THE TRUCK!

if you're doing this on concrete....STOP. not exactly sure of the mechanical explanation but you're asking for a new front diff. someone chime in as to why it needs more speed to make a sharp turn.

The sharper the turn the more friction, therefore the more power needed.

It was snowy/icy conditions thats why I had it in 4. Should it be doing this in mud?..b/c it does.

it will be harder to turn in 4wd, but for the noise, Without knowing what it sounds like I can't tell you if it is normal or not. Mine is pretty quiet in 4wd unless you turn very sharp and then you get some suspension noise, but not much.
