Brake Judder Limited Time

The campaign to fix the brake judder problem is about to run out. I found out today from nissan customer service the deadline to have your brake judder repaired is March 17th 2007. All titans regardless of mileage are eligible.

Check the www.nissanhelp.com web site, there is no TBS for the 07 at this time.

Re: Brake Judder Limited Time

no it was mostly for 04's and early 05's.

Looks like the 08's are have all new brakes. Bigger rotors and new calipers.

Re: Brake Judder Limited Time

Just got mine fixed yesterday (March 21st). The judder wasn't bad, but, after reading this thread, I wanted to make sure it got taken care of while it was still covered. I made the appointment before the deadline, but they couldn't get it in until after. They never said anything about a deadline, but didn't charge me. Not sure if they didn't know or if they just didn't say anything and fixed it since the day I made the appointment was earlier. Just brought it home today and the brakes work great, but it seems to have a little pull to the left. Maybe it was just windy. Other than that, I was very impressed by the service. They got it in only a couple of days after I called, and there was no wait for the parts. Although, for some reason, because I didn't buy it at the dealership that I got it fixed at, they wouldn't give me a loaner vehicle.

Re: Brake Judder Limited Time

What does the brake judder feel like? I notice a thud every now and then when I release the brakes to begin moving or sometime when I finally come to a complete stop at the last second you can feel a thud.

Is this the same thing and if it isn't does anyone else feel this? Brakes feel and work fine but the thud worries me because of the brake issues. I bought mine in Feb '07. It is an 06 SE CC 4x4 with BT. Build date was 2/06 so it sat awhile in the dealer's lot....

I think you got some bad information or maybe YOUR warranty has expired.
Brake Jutter continues to be covered for 3 years from in-service date unlimited mileage on all 04-05's
