ok ive had my truck since november (bought it used) and ever since i have not been able to get more than 270 miles on a tank (till the light comes on). im starting to think that there is a problem because during daily driving, my RPM's never go above 2k and yet i see people on here that get 350+ miles per tank...i even went as far as to reset my ECU a month ago, and it still didnt help.
sometime this week itll be going into the dealer to get a few problems fixed, but while its there what should i have them check to see what the problem could be?

While your out you could go by the shoe store and get some without lead in them(just kidding). It could be alot of things but your probably getting average. People like to tell how many MPG they are getting but dont believe everything you read. Let us know if anything is found.

i just finished my first tank in an 07 4wd crew cab. i got 13.4 mpg and drove 330 miles.there was still some gas in the tank but the light came on so i filled er up. a mixture of city and hwy miles. i admit i did do a lot of experimental passing of cars when on the highway so i hope my next tank might be little better mpg wise.
haha yeah yeah yeah, im not complaining by any means, just EXTREMELY curious why my truck seems to be worse...gas with my truck seems to be like eating indian food, just flies right through it...

It's no worse than most of the Titans. I average 13-14 city with the summer blend gas and 11-12 winter blend. My low fuel light comes on with 8 gallons left in the tank, so that's 260 miles. Just ignore the 15-17 all city averages you see.

I get about 250-280 per tank mixed city and highway with about 6 gallons left in the tank, so you're right on the money if its mixed driving. Mines a CC 4X4.
well today i went and filled her up right at 284mi. Which put me at about 11.5 mpg... i was hoping for a bit more on an all stock titan, but i can definetly deal with that. Its quite a bit better than my old 8mpg jeep grand cherokee with AWD.
On a side note, i just recieved the recall notice in the mail about the door wiring so i figured when i take it in to have that fixed, ill get the other stuff looked at just to make sure everything is hunky dory.

I can get 350 out of my 4x4 BT OR CC, pulling my car trailer. With a car on it. Easy. I do it all the time. I bet I can get over 400 before I have to stop and fill it, but I don't like stretching it that far. Obeying the speed limit is the key.

My has almost nothing compared to some of you guys, but I still like it.
Our 1994 Jeep Grand CHerokee V8 full time 4wd gets 15.5 every time. My Titan never gets less than 12. Try the right foot mod mod.
oh sure ours would spike to about 15 mpg or so, but cruising on the fwy at about 65mph it constantly read 9mpg...maybe it was off...
and (like i said before) the rpms dont EVER go above 2k...ever try driving that slow with this much power under the hood!? it drives you INSANE!! i usually go 5 above the speed limit, or right at the speed limit...
how in the heck are you getting that gas mileage...?
