Angry Is my Titan defective?

Ok, purchased '06 Titan XE CC 2wd w/ preferred pkg March '06. Since then, I have had 2 front racks, 2 steering pumps, both rear axle seals leak, driver's side shock leak, and a vibration issue that's never been resolved. Service mgr says he's never seen this many issues on 1 truck. Contacted Consumer Affairs on most recent issue(removing cam bolts to do alignment) and have gotten squat! I do normal driving, no off road, no towing. What gives? Anyone else had this many probs?

Might depend on your state.

if this is true that is way too much crap i wouldnt trust that truck call the better buisness bureau and start a file on it keep all paper work you have for the repairs.
The BBB should help you they did with my 04 all depends on your lemon law in your state. Looks like you got a truck made on a friday geez. Good luck.

Re: Is my Titan defective?

NYTITAN is right. You might want to also consider doing a google search for lemon law attys in your state and call one, never hurts to see what they say, it's free.. I lemoned mine about 2 months ago. Bought another Titan, and this one seems to be MUCH better so far. You had more severe issues with yours than I did. My saving grace was a water leak that couldn't be found after the 3rd attempt. Also 3 days before I was to return the truck I cracked another exhaust manifold, 2nd one, so I was very glad to get rid of it. And like you I babied my truck. Good riddens

Re: Is my Titan defective?

Unfortunately, none of my problems(other than the vibration issue) has happened 3 times...I did file a report with the BBB yesterday...funny, I called Nissan Care on Monday and requested to speak to a supr b/c the "specialist" that was assigned would not return calls, etc..I was told they had 4-8 hrs to call me and would'nt you know the same specialist(who I said I did not want) calls me! She said she recieved a message that I wanted to her to call me....duh... She acted like the case was closed since I had already paid the dealer for the service....when I reminded her that both the dealer and myself tried to call her 2 wks ago to arrange payment, she was like "oh, I called but didn't speak to anyone"....how dumb does she think I am !!!

Re: Is my Titan defective?

Well being that your vibration issue has never been resloved, that in my opinion would render your vehicle in a substsantial way for loss of value and also a safety factor possibly. I would still call an atty if you haven't already, and see what they say.
