Question RF Radio Cut-Out

Yesterday while driving home from work, the sound just stopped coming from the speakers in my '08 Titian LE. The radio was still and, and the CD was showing it was playing. Just no sound. I restarted the truck, and everything went back to normal.

Has anyone else experienced this kind of problem? I am taking it to the dealership in a couple of days, I just wanted to know if there is a bigger issue I need to address with them.

Re: RF Radio Cut-Out

Check the CD you were playing could have a big scratch on it.

Re: RF Radio Cut-Out

I switched from FM Radio, XM Radio, CD, Aux (iPod) no sound was coming from any speakers. Tomorrow morning I am taking it in to the Nissian dealership. Hopefully they can get it fixed. It has only done it once, but I hope it doesn't happen again...especially once the warranty runs out.

Re: RF Radio Cut-Out

yep I have a 08 se titan 4door 4wd with the indash 6 disk non RF and it does the same thing. My dealer is supposedly working on a fix. they have replaced the radio once allready. mine has done it atleast 7 times. sometimes it will stay off for a few days otheres it will be working the next time I get in the truck. If you find anything out please let me know it drives me crazy. It happened to me on a road trip and had to drive from charlston, W.V back to VA beach, V.A with no tunes man that sucked.
