Front Seats

I have a new 2008 LE, but had the same issue on my 2004 LE.

The back of the seats seem to be loose/sloppy abd shift back and forth in turns, etc. Feels like it is something in the attachment points of the hinges to the seat frames, i.e brackets, mounts, loose bolts. It is the drivers side in my new truck and is driving me nuts, because it does not feel secure. May only move 1/2", but it feels like a mile. Dealer tried to fix it last time, but had no major success.

Anyone else?

Re: Front Seats

My passenger seat does that, been thinking about taking it apart to see if I can beef it up.

Re: Front Seats

CMClovis - I have the exact same problem with my front driver's seat moving about a 1/2inch in turns and feeling loose or sloppy...has anyone else found a fix for this problem or had the dealers fix it?

Re: Front Seats

Suggest removing bolts that hold the seat frames down and putting a nice set of lock washers...possibly to create some pressure on the bolts mabey?
