Timing advance blah blah blah...

Ok yesterday I dropped my truck off for service. They hooked me up with a loaner car for the day...
At the end of the day I stopped in to see how it was going and they were not at all busy other than working on my truck...
I non-shalauntly asked if they ever do timing advances. They proceeded to tell me that they are not "supposed to" but one of the techs said he knew how to do it but stated it WOULD VOID MY WARRANTY if I were to do it!! can you believe this crap? I know its not true but still just wanted to rant.

Service was excellent as it usually is from Victory, they fixed my brake judder for the 3rd time; this time they had to resurface all 4 rotors. Good news is that when the fronts warp again (and they will) they will replace the rotors under warrenty since they have already been turned 2 times!

The only thing I can think of is that maybe the techs didn't want to get in trouble since I asked the question in front of everyone

Next time ask the tech when everybody isn't around!! I did the same kinda thing..............I asked the service manager when I was there once and he made a big deal about how they don't do that, nor do any of his techs! I know that atleast one of them does it!!

I'll second that. He knows his way around a Titan. Not only is he friendly, you can learn a lot while hanging out with him.
