Just to make sure I'm not setting myself up for problems in the future...are there plenty of guys out there with a 2" leveling kit and a bunch of miles that HAVE NOT had a front axle failure? I only have 9000 miles on my truck, and I bought the extended warranty out to 75000 miles. I don't want to screw up the truck and have the dealership deny the repairs b/c of the spacers. Thanks.

The front driverside axle pulled out of my 04 with a 2" level kit. I have had the kit in for about a year and this is the first problem. While researching this problem I came across some manual locking hubs.
I would like to try this part as it might be easier on the front driveline when driving in 2wd. I just don't know the number of splines on the front axle of my truck (28 or 31)? I anyone has tried this product or knows how many splines our trucks have on the front axles, some feedback would be greatly apprecited.

They do not make manual hubs for the Titan as far as I have seen. If they did, like they do for the Ram, they would more than likely be cost prohibitive. IIRC they were around $1,500-2,000 for little to no gain on mpg.

My front axle/diff failed in my 04 about 2 years ago. It has the 2" kit on it, and I can tell you that the kit did not cause it but it did make a poor axle design worse. My axles only popped out in 4-lo, and if I hit a dry spot while turning. Luckily they where easy to put in with the end of a shovel handle. After the whole run around with new axles, new clips, and seals the dealer finnaly replaced the front diff. I have had no other problems since and it still has the leveling kit.
Also Provides Better 4Wd Performance When The Hubs Are Locked"
That comment in particular makes me question the need and/or qulaity of these items. Locked is locked my friend. I am also not grasping how plastic can protect items in the unlikely event of failure.
I got a puddle under mine, drove it two days ago in 4hi because of snow. It is the front leaking right in the middle, taking it in to get fixed/looked at tomorrow. I bought mine used as a certified vehicle with the 84month 100,000 mile drive chain warranty, it is a 2005 with 51,000 miles so I am not real worried.

If you have spacers, and the dealership denies coverage due to that, please let us know.

Yep, its done driver side axel and differential ordered, will be replaced when they get it in stock. Just said they are covering it all and they have done several already.
You can probably add me to the list...are there any tutorials on how to go about fixing this yourself and what parts are needed? Would rather not go the $1700 repair route.
