Took it to the dealer and the told me it was a vent control valve..waiting for the part to come in. has anyone had this problem?

if the vent control valve you speak of is related to EVAP then yes i had it and the canister replaced. PITA really as it controls fumes from the gas tank. won't affect how your truck works.

Had mine done too. Dealer said they were becoming a big problem and now they put some kind of filter before it. the SES code is PO455.
