I just got my truck back for the third time from my dealer. My shock toping out problem has not been solved. Nissan USA asked me to bring it back and have them try to fix the issue. The dealer said every 08 Titan in their lot did the same thing! And that was it! I'm waiting for Nissan USA to call be back to see what needs to be done. This is the third time so my Lemon Law now can be inforced. If anyone has any info PLEASE INFORM ME. I love my truck and paid good money for it, I wanna keep it, Please help.
This is a problem on every titan made. The shock is the limiting factor for droop travel. I doubt that they'll do anything for you.

How would I know if my shocks are topping out? My 08 has a better ride than my Honda Pilot.

You'll hear a loud bang or clunk when going over a speed bump or something similar. First, the suspension will compress when you initially hit the bump. Next, as you go across the bump and the suspension begins to rebound, combined with the truck now being 'across' the bump, the suspension is forced downward to it's limits, which just so happens to be limited by the shock itself. The shock 'tops' out and prevents the suspension from drooping any further. The clucking sound is the shock topping out/destroying itself.

I haven't noticed that problem yet but I baby my titan still but it does sag heavily in the back like an L.A. gangbanger when i haul some cargo around.

For a small investment into some Bilsteins, I no longer have that issue.
Good Luck, you might want to go buy some shocks!!

Small investment?! Good to know though.
I think i'm still going to take my truck in. It's not right & it's thier job to make it right one way or another. They can buy my Bilsteins (or other shocks that don't do that) even if it's just the fronts.

mine does the sameting. 08 titans front end sits alittle hight then the 04-07 titans. Like bbomer stated, buy better shocks.

I think I noticed this today. I've got 3K on my Titan and went over a small hump/bump at about 30MPH. I heard a clunk when we came off the back side of the hump/bump.
