Re: Heater issue???

check your coolant level, if thats ok then take it your dealer/mechanic. these trucks have multiple thermostats as well as an additional heater pump that works at idle so low heat issues can be difficult to diagnose at times.

Re: Heater issue???

Probably just air in the system due to low coolant level caused by a leak somewhere like the radiator cap or something.

Re: Heater issue???

I do have a small leak coming from the bottom of my cheasy plastic radiator!!! Sounds like I need to add coolant and/or fix the leak, any way to fix the MINOR leak with like JB Weld or some kind of sealant, rather than drop a few hundred on a new radiator, warranties up long time ago!

Re: Heater issue???

Im having the same problem after fixing my radiator cap leak. I tried bleeding the system numerous times with no luck. I only have heat at 90 though. Does anybody know the correct way of doing the bleeding of the system?? I jacked up the p/s with the truck parked uphill and just took the reservoir cap off and left it running for 15 minutes filled up to the top. It still does it.
