Angry Another worthless so called "Technician"

Today I brought my 08.5 CC SE to the stealership for them to replace the black door handles with some chrome ones.....it was a deal I made with sales when I bought the truck so it was free. Anyway the POS idiot "technician" they got to install them F*&@ked my left rear door up and didn't install the rubber seals behind the handles on two of the other door handles. Like an idiot I didn't check the install before I left so I didn't notice it till I got home. I called the service advisor and the service manager and gave them a piece of my mind. The service advisor told me they'll fix it and the service manager said "don't worry, we'll have a certified technician reinstall them and fix it" A "certified technician"...I told him I thought that's all they had doing service work. I am f%$in pissed off. I'm sure when the paint job has got a couple of years on it, the touch up on the door will be the first spot to start rusting, fading or chipping?

Why on Earth would he ram a screwdriver behind the locking plate to pry it off? Did he not notice the torx head screw in the door?

Re: Another worthless so called "Technician"

Oh, i forgot to mention.....when I was at the stealership a couple of weeks ago to have this done.....the idiots in the parts department ordered only three door handles. More wasted time and gas that day but I got a free oil change for my trouble.

Re: Another worthless so called "Technician"

When i called the first time and talked to the service advisor, he acted like he didn't know about it, but he replied..."I think that guy's just been fired". I wonder what for?

Re: Another worthless so called "Technician"

Went to the stealership today and the service manager said they're going to send it to a body shop to get fixed. I'll get a rental while they're workng on it.....I was afraid he was going to want to get his "touch up guy' to do the work, I knew that wasn't a good solution. We'll see how it turns out.

Re: Another worthless so called "Technician"

Man that sucks I'd be pissed too. I'd ask them what body shop or take it to the most respected one in your area. Reason being they could let their touch up guy do and tell you its at the body shop. So when he burns the clear in and in 6 months you'll notice it.
