Re: N-Fabs rusting.....

I'd say that is some crappy quality control on N-Fabs end. There's no way something that's powder coated should rust like that in a year, even in the NE. I'm still up in the air about getting steps, if I do I won't be getting N-fabs, probably get the Go-Dominator Rhino's. They look similar but the step plate can be removed and have a different coating. It'd be cool to have them PC'd in black and the step pads rubberized coated.

Re: N-Fabs rusting.....

i'd try and see if NFab will replace those... that's a horrible amount of rust for something that is supposed to be powdercoated... get a new set and lather the underside with some of that bedliner spray stuff you can buy at the local auto parts store to prevent future problems.

Re: N-Fabs rusting.....

im on my second set of go rhinos due to rust. mine were starting to rust after 6 months. the rust was starting on the weld beads (tough to powdercoat if not prepped right). the brackets were rusting too. anyways, they stepped up like 54's nfabs did. time will tell if it happens again.
