This just started last week. With or without a person sitting in the seat, when I travel over bumps in the road the seat squeaks like crazy. I think it is coming from the arm rest and when I apply pressure it isn't as bad.
Went to the dealer today to get a insp. sticker and told them about it. They want to give me a rental and keep the truck. Asked if this is common and they said not in the titan, just a couple of muranos.
Have you guys experienced this at all? Really annoying.

I pointed this out to my dealership when I had it in for inspection... They called and told me they couldn't duplicate the problem....
"Whaddya mean? It's driving me NUTZ!!!"
"We hear no squeak."
"Wait a minute.... 'WE'?"
"Yes, I and my service manager rode in the truck and heard no squeaks from the passenger seat."
"Well, duh! If someone's sitting in it, it won't squeak... I'm 10 minutes from there. I'll stop by."
Went there... "let's take a ride in it and you can show us the problem."
"That's not necessary....." I opened the passenger door, pushed on the headrest a bit.... SQUEAK! SQUEAK! SQUEAK! SQUEAK! SQUEAK! SQUEAK! SQUEAK! SQUEAK! SQUEAK! SQUEAK! SQUEAK! SQUEAK! SQUEAK! SQUEAK! SQUEAK! SQUEAK! SQUEAK!
"Can you hear me now......?"
They promptly ordered a completely new seat, leathers and all, and replaced it... I had to take it back, once it came in, but it was free....
My 04 would drive me CRAZY with all the stupid squeaking, especially when no one was sitting in the passenger seat.
It was so simple to fix it was ridiculous. One goob of grease at the right spot...no more noise.
My noise came from the right side hinge area, under the plastic cover. I pulled the back of the seat off to access the screw
that holds on the right side seat hinge cover. Then I saw the rusty spot where 2 pieces of metal were rubbing together
and causing the squeak. I put some grease there and it was fixed. Sorry I never took any pics.

Want: Bilstein Adj Frt shocks, Bilstein rears, CAI, Black Bull Bar, Black mesh grill inserts
Would this apply to my truck? Build date was July 08.
I'm not sure, it might. My seat is the type that folds down flat to create a "table". I would assume anyone with this seat would have the problem, but maybe they have redesigned it? (Or decided to lube it at the factory)
