Re: Best way to find a good price on a Titan

In San Diego Poway Mossy Nissan is the best place i've found. I had an 04 KC 2WD SE Titan with 25k miles and wanted to upgrade. National City Nissan wanted to give me $16K. El Cajon Nissan wanted to give me $14k ...not even enough to pay it off. At Poway i was able to negotiate to $20k for my trade in!! my pay-off was $15,300. Combining that with the $2250 rebate i was able to get an 06 CC 4WD SE Titan for only $20 more a month. Great interest rate too!! I definetely recomend Poway Nissan

Re: Best way to find a good price on a Titan

Someone wanted me to post my experience in this thread so i pasted what I already wrote in my "got my new Titan tonight" thread.

"Well their were certain factors which made this deal easy to do. I did the internet quote thing. But first, after I finaly made my decision to let my beloved 350Z go and opt for a Titan, I built my virtual Titan about ten times on the NissanUSA website. When I was happy with how i built it, minus the off road and navigation, I submitted for quotes from local dealers. This was a week ago from last Monday. A chic from one dealer called me up that Monday night and tried to get me to come in by that Weds. I said i would think about it, she never offered me a quote.
On Weds. afternoon last week a guy from another dealer, the fleet sales guy, called and we hit it off quickly. He has a 350Z like me, rather like I did, and i liked him. Anyway he didn't screw around and he quoted me pretty quick for my truck without the Nav and Off Road. 30,800 and change. I got excited and was there that night. When i get there the truck acually had the Nav and Off Road. The one he quoted me on was actually at another dealer. I did misunderstand him. But I worked them for the one with the Nav & Off Road and got it for 1000 more than the other one.
The reasons they went 1600 under invoice is that it is the slow time of year and they need to move inventory to get their summer shipment alotment. This dealer had 342 vehicle in their inventory and they need to move them. And it was Febuary the 28th, the last day of a short & slow month. Need to make their quotas. They said they are loosing money on the deal but that is better than not selling enough cars to get their full summer shipment, when they are busy.

So now we know how and when to buy a new vehicle. Select the end of Feb., select a high inventory dealer, do the quotes thing online 3 or 4 days before the 28th of Feb., You may probably want to play hard to get but somehow I didn't have to. It was too easy this time and it was a great experience. In and out and I drove home an awesome pick-up."

This was at Antiock Nissan in Northern Ca.

Regards,

Mike Hunt

Re: Best way to find a good price on a Titan

Hey all, n00b here. Right now there's $5000 customer cash on 07 Titans. I am trying to work a deal for an 07 Crewcab XE 4x2. I was hoping to pay right about 20k. I'm just going by the Edmunds price that other people are paying and subtracting $5000, and I get $20,152. Seems like a smashing deal to me, but mabye people are getting them for less. Or maybe I could get a 4x4 for only a little more? Let me know if you think this is doable. Thanks!

Derodeo,

I used Carcostcanada.com and bought my Titan LE from Sherwood Nissan. If you ask for Richard P. (he is in fleet manager now but will likely take your call).

Tell Richard you used car cost canada and tell him you talked to me (Calvin from Edmonton...trust me he'll remember I probably paid the lowest amount for any Titan sold in Alberta in 05. It took me a couple weeks to get my deal but I saved thousands)

Best of luck
Cheers
Calvin

Like I answered above check out carcostcanada.com I wouldn't dream of buying anything with out checking their first. $50 bucks gets you 5 vehicles and will also get you in contact with dealers that will "play ball".
The two in Edmonton that will negotiate are Ericksen and Sherwood (I got the better deal at Sherwood by $500 but both knocked off thousands)

Best of luck
