Thunk when seat slides forward

If you're, uh, height challenged and own an LE, you may hear a slight thunk when the power seat automatically slides forward after you insert the key. Under the seat, there is a housing that contains the subwoofer. This housing has a tab that protrudes near the front center of the seat. When the seat moves forward, a bundle of wires brushes against this tab. I think I'm going to cut off the tab, but for now I adjusted the seat further back. When I go in for service, I'll ask them to turn off the auto seat entry/exit feature which I find unnecessary.

If you're tall, I doubt you'll experience this problem.
