Angry Found some extra bolts

When I picked up my Titan last week, I found three bolts on the floor behind the driver's seat. I didn't see any obvious holes that these bolts could have come from. Anybody recognize them?

OMG, those are the engine mounting bolts...just joking of course. A lot of times some extra parts may accidently be left behind...I wouldn't worry much about it. I've even seen tools left behind in new jet skis...pliers, screwdrivers, and 10mm wrenches...free tools for me!

Those look like the bolts that came with my front license plate plastic bracket. We don't have the front plate in KY, so they went into my screw box.

Hey...those are mine. I didn't get any bracket bolts, just the bracket in the back door pocket.

There dealer screws. I know all about dealer screws, and thats them. Seems like your truck took a test drive, or possibly it was bought, and financing didnt go through so dealer tag came off. guess where screws go? you guessed it, and you found them. no biggie, there just dealers. Put them in the trash.

in the military, we have quality assurance inspectors that come out and make sure we do everything right. Leaving tools out on the airplane is means for an LOR (letter of reprimand) ....u get few of those and your kicked out of the airforce with a dishonorable...
sounds like, with all the problems people are having, and hardware being left behind, they dont have many inspectors.

Who you trying to kid? I was also a USAF man and you've gotta know the rules are commonly stretched. In ten years I saw numerous sloppy mx functions, incuding items just signed off. Nothing in any major category, just like leaving a screw or two on the floor of a truck. I've done inspectioins and found tools in some of the strangest locations. It happens everywhere.

I was a Jaguar Tech, I use to pull five pounds of screws out of every car when new. Going down the line, if you drop a screw, you just get a new one.

I bet Kwaz could write a book about "dealer screws"!
