I had the recall done then my a/c wasn't working. I went to the dealer thinking they were at fault, they inspected and put in leak detecting fluid said come back in 2 weeks, assuring me it was not there fault. I go back they say my condenser needs to be replaced not there fault. I don't want to pay another dealer to inspect then argue with customer service. Help, is there a diagram of the harness, they told me the fan is no where near the condenser, it's like 1/2 inch away, it could be leaking elsewhere of course the mechanic is not in untill monday, but i want to see myself where it's leaking, but how do I get a mechanic to admit he banged it or something....important info i left out ..it worked fine before i had the recall work done, the dealership said they never break a condenser changing the fan/motor/and harness....I'm guessing it does happen they just don't admit it! will someone admit it happens cause i know mistakes happen
I'm about to take my truck to the dealership for the same recalls this coming week. I really don't know how to answer that till I have mine done. i will advise when its done.
Geez!! I have gotten the same recall notices and i hate taking my truck to a dealership for anything. When i 1st got the truck and took it back to the dealer for its 1st free oil change they messed up the drian plug and over torqued it leaving it to leak and then when i took it back they tried to tell me there was nothing wrong after having their top people look it over. What BS since i could tell they had added 3 more of the thin copper washers under the drain plug and could see oil slung all over the bottom of my new truck at the time. Anyway, really have a hard time trusting a dealer for anything. I wish i could see the replacement parts and do it myself. I will watch if i take it in this time. Good luck guys! I will be checking back for your replies!
Take care,
M

You might not need anything done to your current fan. My fan happened to be the type 1 fan (Gate brand), so I never took it in. Click on my posting, and that will redirect you to the actual repair TSB. RECALL for 06 Titan

Thanks for the info Sudden Urge!!! Now i need to find out about the Wiring Harness Recall in between the rear Cab Doors. Something about the wiring harnesses not being installed correctly and that the twisting of the harness and wires as the back cab doors are opened could cause wires the break causing seat belt tensioners to not engage in an accident. Any info about what was being done to fix the issue? I hate taking my truck to the Stealers for anything i can do myself.
Thanks all,
M

When I took mine in for that all they did was put some black plastic loom around it and zip tie it on and call it done. Nothing major, I just got my truck back from having this A/C recall thing done and 2 new exhaust manifolds put on.
