Just bad luck

Hello this is my first post. I've owned my titan for almost 2 years now and well it's having some issues now.The other day I parked my truck facing down hill and all of a sudden the VDC, SLIP, and SES light came on. I read the code at home with my Scan Tool and it read P0118 High temp sensor . I replaced the sensor and decided to try my luck and park the truck the same way. It came up again after being replaced. So I decided to pull the wiring from the sensor to the connector. opened the plastic casing and well it looks like someone tried to fix it before by running speaker wire threw it and running one wire then splitting them off into 2 wires to go to the connecter. Ill try to post a pic soon. My best guess for this is that maybe some kind of rodent decided to make a home there and someone jerry rigged it to sell. Anyways is there some way that maybe I can buy that one connecter. Also do I have to pull off the intake manifold to replace the whole thing. Just please give me a little advise.

Hello since no one answered my post I just wanted to update the problem i had and the way i have to fix it. The main wiring harness that connects to the IPDM has a break in the wiring. You can push down on the harness and hear the truck start to die. I know that this is going to be one hell of a chore but im going to attempt to put a new 600 dollar wiring harness in it just in case it decided to break some other wire. Has anyone ever done this before some tips could help. Plus im out of warranty and the dealership gave me a high estimate of 2200 bucks. please just let me know what im getting into if someone ever attempted this before and it didn't work out for them.

Rio Rancoh, New Mexico. Its just outside of albuqerque. Courtesy parts guys were real nice so ill just pick up a new one and give her a go. If anyone is interested in buying a good used IPDM let me know ill sell it cheap. I replaced it with a new one since I thought it was the problem all along.
