Sup guys, well my truck is a 2005 KC XE with 4x4 Offroad package. Got towed from my place of residence last firday (july 10th). I retrieved it monday and the ABS and SLIP (which I assume is traction control) lights are both on. Also, my 4 wheel drive will not engage.
Maybe someone here has had the same problem, or the tow truck dude messed with a sensor or something. Any feedback is appreciated.
Your 4wd will not engage if your truck thinks it is slipping; there is a good chance that something got fouled up with one of your ABS/VSS censors. If you are still within warranty Nissan can test the censors for you free of charge. If not, Discount tire, as well as others I am sure, have a device that can tell you if the censors are getting a signal or not...it won't tell you anything else, but at least you might be able to rule out the censors.
If you need a rear censor I think I may have a few extra, let me know.
Major issue is the speed sensor, had that before. On every car I owned hahah Simple $60 will fix it. If it ISNT that, check if the 4x4 actuator isnt frozen up or something.
took my truck to the snow and got pulled out due to the ABS light on. How embarassing... Big truck gettin' stuck. Faulty ABS rear driver side sensor bad, Replaced at the dealer for about $100 bucks and now it works. If you can find out which one it is, replace it yourself and save you $50 bucks.

It's the ABS speed sensor. My truck was having the same problem. Get the truck scanned so you know what ones need to be replaced. I changed mine, and it fixed the 4 wheel drive problem too.
My Drivers left went out due to the lift. They said it stretched out the line. But i agree JT72 find out which one is not working so you can replace it yourself. The dealer charges too much for you to do it yourself.

Where's the cheapest place to get on the Right Front sensor?

yea... i think the dealer is the only place you can get it... and it is a simple fix... one 8mm(i think?) bolt above the axle right behind the disk break shield, follow the line up and there is a plug that needs to be disconnected and reinstall the new one...
