How to fix sag in driver's door

Anyone ever adjust the driver's door hinge? My door clunks every time I shut it, and wheen I open it from the inside I can feel it drop slightly. Just wondering if anyone has ever played with the hinge or maybe the latch.

Re: How to fix sag in driver's door

you probably have a worn out bushing. You can't really adjust the hinge without taking off the front quarter panel. I would have Nissan look at it. Are you under warranty? I had the same problem on my 04' so I took it to the dealer.

Re: How to fix sag in driver's door

Is the door sagging or is the striker out of adjustment? Try adjusting the striker down first. If that doesn't fix it then just grab the bottom of the door and jar it up a little and check it. That is the only way to adjust these doors.

Re: How to fix sag in driver's door

Adjusting the striker........the little U-bar thing on the frame, right? If that's it, it's got two bolts and it can't really be moved. I'll try your other idea. Put that gym membership to good use.

Thanks for the ideas!
