Reset service engine soon light?

Put my Volant in, upon initial start up got a service engine soon light. Don't know if it is from unhooking the battery or only having the battery unhooked for two hours. Anyone know how to reset it?

Reset the ECU by leaving the battery unhooked for 1/2 or more.

Did you receive the Malfunction Indicator Light/Check Engine Light as soon as you turned the key to the "on" position, or after you started the vehicle?

Best is to buy an OBD2 code reader so that you can read/reset your own codes. Second best is to run down to your dealer, or the local PepBoys or Auto Zone and have them read your code.

If your code is a result of the intake you just installed, there's a good chance your dealer will charge you for the service.
