Titan is DEAD! Cranks and turns but not stay running HELP!

I've searched many posts and found various similar problems but none like mine.

Car was working fine just until recently i've been having to jump my car's battery quite often for some reason. But that is no longer the problem. Now after i jump the battery the car would start but it'll idles up and down as if trying to stay running but it will eventually dies after 5-10 seconds.

After doing that for about 3 times, now it won't even fire up. It'll crank and turns but will not stay running. There is spark, fuel pump works, MAF sensor is clean, no code thrown...so now i'm stump. At this point my only guess is something electrical or maybe the security system?

i just notice that when i step out of the car, and locks the door, the blinking "key" light would stay solid in the car and than flashes after 10 seconds but remain flashing for quite sometime. Does this indicate that it still thinks there's a key inside? Is this light suppose to stay on this long?

try switching the relay before you go.. mine would start, but idle very low and very rough. then die.

truck died today, please help

car currently at a friend's shop, hopefully he can figure it out before i am force to bring it to the stealership...
the symptom is now worse, it literally just fires up and dies even before it idle. I'm just praying it's not something too costly, barely had the truck for a year (an 08) and just to make it worst i just went 3k miles over the warranty period so that's kind of a bummer.

Like beason already posted, check your IPDM.

I agree with "beason" my truck did the same thing took it to pep boys they told me it was a relay got lucky I only paid like $50 or so for a diagnostics. I haven't had a problem since.

I had almost the same trouble. It was the IPDM.

well got the truck fixed, all it need was a throttle body cleaning, replaced crank sensor, and replaced MAF sensor. There was one more sensor that i forgot what he called it but it wasn't the IPDM.

what is it with nissans and crank sensors. i have an 6 sentra that will crank and crank and not start then you cycle the key and it will fire up. then other times start right up. they have a tsib for the sentra not sure about the titan tho.

An '08 and you're already beyond the 5/60 powertrain warranty? Dang, that's a lot of driving! Glad you got it all resolved.

lol, yea i do a lot of driving. plus a lot of people do a lot of driving for me as well...cause you know when you have a truck everyone's your friend hahahaha. I'm at 41k and still climbing fast.

I just replaced my MAF yesterday as it went down.

A new one from the dealership was $343 that was warranteed for 12months/12k miles.

Advance Auto had two; one with the same warranty that was OEM refurbished for $199 and then a new one with a lifetime warranty for $249.

Mine died on Saturday, thought it was the fuel pump but my mechanic checked that and there was plenty of pressure and thought it was a computer or sensor problem and had me take it to a dealer. Dealer said it was the fuse box in the engine bay, gonna be $420 to fix it. Sucks, just bought mine two weeks ago!
