So i took my truck in to get some tires and a alignment after i did the mini lift (looks good), so they didnt do the alignment beacuse they told me i need a new left side lower ball joint and you have to get the whole lower A-arm, they said its $700 new not a chance im paying that, so if i go to the Auto Wreckers will a ball joint from any year titan or a Pro 4X work? also if i put the front coils in from the Pro 4X they have there will it bring my front end up a bit as well? will it work?

Re: Need new ball-joint.
I have 85K on my Titan and I hear a knocking noise on the passenger side when I drive on gravel roads or over uneven paved road surface. I replaced the ball joints on my T100 years ago and it sounds about the same. Also if I drive slow over a good size bump in the road or shoulder it will make a loud POP noise under the front of the truck.
Yep sounds like it's time for ball joints.......how many miles are on your Titan and what kind of road surface do you drive on?

i have 108,000 and im in Canada so a bunch of gravel roads, and soon to be snow and ice. some pavement too but in places around town and stuff it can become rough and thats where i hear the noise.

Well, I'm in the same boat as you. Actually, I'm literally in the process of replaing both of my front lower ball joints. This is ridiculous. I've torn apart many cars, but this is by far one of my least favorite jobs. If you have a 4x4 be ready to disassemble the front end and take out your axle shafts, otherwise you can't get your LCA's out of the spindles. Also if you've driven through winters and seized up your bolts, etc. like I have you'll curse the day you start this job. Oh well, just an FYI. I'm back to work...let you know how it goes?
