I bought the Titan a year ago. when I asked the guy what kind of lift he had he told me he had a shop install it. I called Greg at prg and me and him tried to figure it out. it seemed sitting too low to be a pro-comp 6" even though the coilovers are set a lowest setting. I figured i would post pics and see where that took me.
thanks.
I wanted to know because i want to go bigger it doesn't look like 6" to me. guess thats because everyone around here in so cal it 8" and up. would it be best to get the spanner wrench and adjust the coilovers (not maxing them out) or just go for S.A.W or CST Spindle? have a little money to play with?
thanks.

ill tell you one thing GOOD luck with pre-loading those coilovers by far one of thee hardest to do. i had those my self and hated them since it was nearly impossible to add pre-load....ugh! thank god i sold them...but yea good luck you'll need it....

soak em in WD-40 or liquid wrench every day for a few days and hit the threads with a wire brush. it will clean em up and make adjusting more easy..........well a little

Good advice man, I work with alot coilovers for cars. Them being clean, free of dirt and sand makes a HUGE difference with adjusting them. If they are really dirty I usually spray some brake cleaner on them and use a tooth brush to clean the teeth up. Or just use soap and water with a sponge and tooth brush. Just don't use that sponge on the rest of your truck, unless you want a bunch of scratches on your paint. Once clean spray some WD40 on to lubricate them.

yea I have done coilovers with cars before. it wasnt the funnest thing to do. If i adjust the front pre-load wont i end up with a so-cal lift? with the front sitting higher because the back will stay the same. so would i need to buy bigger blocks or just go with shocks in the rear?
I use a cheater pipe on the spanner wrench to adjust mine.
me too!!

so easiest way to squeeze a couple of more inches is wrench up coilovers in the front and block it in the back? And yes im putting 35" hankook AT as soon as taxes come back around..

tax time get you some PRG upper control arms with coil bucket spacer and turn that 6" lift into a 9" lift. you will clear 35's with ease and some 37's.
if you don't do off roading add a body lift and you can clear 38's and some 40's.
