The 2'' drop shackles will not level you. It will only drop you about an inch. I would save my money up for the 6'' or mod something else.

Do you mean a 7" lift ??? Or is there a 4" that will work on a 4x4 ?
if it turns into that i'm not complaining

I'm pretty sure BlackBeauty did a 4" perfomance on his with new UCA's SAW's a block in the rear and new rear shocks....
I'd also like to get a little something to help with the towing efforts. This truck loves to pull.
Have I mentioned lately how much I love this truck?????

I see you think modularly, great idea.
I didn't really care for the rake of the truck, sure i get the reasoning that if you load the bed to capacity the truck will be level BUT how often does that happen on your DD?
I had considered lowering my 4wd truck until i kept reading threads on here and realized there was no real merrit in lowering a truck that was meant to be used as such and i'm glad i went up and scored a set of terragrapplers.
That'll be around a $1500 package when you're done with it. I dunno about you, but for $1500 I'd rather have a bracket lift and build more onto it later. I would think you might be able to pickup a CST 7" for close to that price then change out the shocks later maybe??

sorry for jacking your thread dude but this will help you down the road too!!
Right Pops... that's about where my brain is with everything, by the time I spend cash on 4" i could have 7" with crappier shocks.
for now as the DD the T sees minimal off roading, mostly when opportunity presents itself. I also haven't spent any real wheel time in a lifted T which makes me wonder if i'll be happy with everything once lifted.
I figured the "performance lift" would give me a taste... the way I'm approaching this is when the shocks finally go i'll upgrade them in lieu of a stock replacement.
I'll most likely talk to Greg once I'm ready to pull the trigger and figure out the best bang for the buck then.
