a few lift and tire questions.
I know this information is scattered throughout the form, but i'm looking for just a few simple answers....
I'm looking to put 35 inch tires on my truck. Toyo Open Country A/T LT285/75R18 to be exact. how much lift do i need front and rear to fit these? and how do i recalibrate my speedometer for these tires? Thanks!

-Alpine w505 -6 inch rough country lift -35 inch toyo open country m/t -eDead Sound Deadening -Tru-Trac -Electric Cooling Fan Looks like to me you already know what you need and have a plan. But to answer your ? 6" lift and i would say watch your speed because I heard it is not cheap to recalibrate your speedo. |

You can get a speedo calibrator for about $200 from hypertech. Or you can use the same money to buy a GPS and use that as your speedo...that's what I did.

no i'm starting to think about something besides a 6 inch lift. I know for sure that i want 35 inch tires. Can i get 35's with like a 4 inch lift? I'm thinkin of just doing stuff from PRG Components to get 4 inches.
200 bucks???? to get a speedo recalibrated? damn. any change of superchips cortex getting an update to recalibrate speedos?

with a leveling kit and the PWM you can fit 35s on stock wheels

i dont wana thread jack, but i want to put 37's on my truck with 17x9 xd diesels with a 12.50 offset.....if i get the mini lift kit from prg and some fiberglass front fenders would i be able to fit them? thanks

i just put 35s on mine with the 7'' cst on stock rims with an 1-1/4 spacer and had to do the pwm b/c they rubbed. but my speed is only off like 3 to 5 mph.
