I am new to the titan world, but not new to prerunners. I am looking into getting a front end kit for my truck and wanted to get some ideas from you guys on here. I saw the 125 page prerunner thread and didnt want to read through all of it for advice...sorry haha. I was into tacomas for a bit and knew that the Donahoe/ICON C/Os were the ticket for them for the most part. How are they for Nissans? Is there something else out there that is better valved/setup for the Titans? I don't see much posting on any of the bolt on C/Os like there was for Tacomas. I'm not looking for a long travel setup...yet haha. I'm thinking Uniball UCAs and a C/O will do me fine right now, possibly rear shocks too. Thoughts on the other stuff out there? Camburg, prg (can't get the site to load....), etc etc. If you got places that sell kits with a 2.5 remote resi, let me know. Like I said, im new to this stuff....
Prefect for him.
When I first came on this site I couldnt believe how much people were all over PRG Greg but now that Ive worked with him and felt how great my truck rides I push everyone his way. PRG spec. Radflos or SAW will ride way better then the DR's IMO, and Ive had DRs on my F150, but Greg can get you what ever shock you want.
If I was buying right now, I'd get the PRG UCA, and the new 2.5" body Radflo coilovers ... they have a high tech look to them, and Greg says they are more compliant than some of the other coilovers. I should have had my son take a pic of them. Got some nice ones of trees.
For some reason PRG wasnt loading for me earlier today at work...
That kit looks awesome, thats what im looking for. My only concern is the strength of that upper arm, the heims are cool and all, but look undersized for the application. Id just worry about hitting something wrong in the front end and ripping it out.
What about those rear shocks, anyone have experience with the radflos or saws? Id lean more towards the SAWs at this point I think.

Thanks for the input guys!
There have been plenty of people running their Titans very hard with the PRG UCA, including guys that jump their Titans.
I haven't heard of any problems with them. The boxed ones that are available with his mid-travel kit are probably stronger, but for the price, I doubt you could find better.
As far as the rears, I plan to eventually get the new 2.5" Radflo shocks that PRG offers in both an emulsion and a external reservoir version. Heres's a link to a thread about them. New Rear Shocks From Radflo
The pics make the arms look "thinner" then they really are...Also if you are 2wd, then add the CST 4" spindle to your must have list...
Spindles do 3 things, the first of course is the actual lift, the second is picking up 4" extra inches of ground clearence under the LCA's...and the third very over looked one is when you drop the spindle on a steering knuckle, the spindle loses leverage over the UCA. In other words the UCA see's less load from whatever the wheel hits...
As far as shocks go, Greg has several Radflo/SAW choices, but no losers...
Just to add, PRG has done a bunch of shock R&D testing for the Titan, his SAW's are valved to his spec's, not what they would come from if you bought them straight from SAW and those of course are a huge improvement over stock...

Why would he tell what his valving is? Thats what makes him money. This is Greg G AKA The Shock Satan, I know your all about Camburg but they just put regular 8 over 10 valving in their shocks. When talking to Greg about them it sounds like he uses custom shim stacks not a set #8 or such. Maybe even a flutter stack IDK but Im pretty sure its not your SAW or Camburg stock valving.

For some reason, my work filters wont let me get on their site here, but it doesnt say its blocked. I'm trying to work with him to build the best bolt on package I can. I'm not ready for a long travel kit yet. At this point im thinking either SAWs or radflo 2.5 resis front and rear with the UCA. Anybody have the shackle or add-a-leaf replacement pack? Thoughts? I only want around 2" lift, sitting level.
Whats best tire to run for a 17" rim that fills it out nice but isnt too big? I hate these metric tire sizes. I'm used to normal sizes like the 37s on my rockcrawler .
FWIW, Here's a pic of my SAW. You can't go wrong with either the SAW or Radflo. I started out wanting the Radflo External Res like CL 8's but as I talked to Greg more, the SAW grew on me more with each conversation.
... and if he had a product that was better than Camburgs at the same price I might have run his parts on one of my Titan, but the fact is that Camburg has a product at a price that I cant pass up. ...
So you're holding out on sharing info with us???? Greg's prices were the best that I could find when I called around. If someone's finding better prices on the same products, it would've been nice to know when I was looking.
I dunno anything about the valving other thanI told Greg what I was looking for, he said he'd valve them to what I was looking for, and they ride better than the Chevy I rode in. Other than that, it's all Greek to me.
