Removing a leaf from C-30 pack

I talked to Greg yesterday and figured out which leaf I need to remove. He told the the top leaf of the C 30 pack (3rd one up). He said it would make it work more like a race pack and get me significantly lower. Does anybody have any pointers/instructions as far as removing it? Thanks!

I would guess same as installing the full pack some big c clamps and stuff, if your back in town Im down to help this weekend.

Thanks but unless your willing to drive all the way to Wickenburg that might be out of the question. . . Unless you wanna hit up the desert around here!

Did you ever get this done? Im looking to remove my overload leaf and wanted to see how you did this or some helpful tips, I would like to do it with the leafs still on the truck.

No I still havent gotten around to it. The day I was supposed to do it my buddy was using all of the jack stands at his shop so we just ended up drinking beer. LOL
