New shocks req for PRG 1.5" block install?

Hi guys -

I completed the PRG 2" leveling install yesterday. That was a fun and very easy install and it looks very good.

Question - I have the full mini-lift kit. I've read enough about the install that I'm now believing that I need replacement shocks to do this install. Can anyone comment? I'd like to do the rear lift tonight, but if I don't have shocks and need them.... well then maybe tomorrow.

I think you're ok for a while w/ the 1.5" block on stock rear shocks. 2"+ require new shocks tho. Hopefully the pros chime in to confirm this...

The stockers will work but you should definitely consider getting some bilsteins form PRG products. It will ride a lot better! Heres the link. PRG Products

Or just Goggle Bilstein shocks and find the lowest price with free shipping. I ended up doing a price match deal with Shox.com and they shipped my rears out the same day ( fronts on back order )...

Thanks for the advice. I am actually impressed enough with the 2" 's on the front of the truck and may leave it a while like that... and then raise the back sometime this winter when I need I get bored and need a little project.

My manager has one of the new Beamer z4's. He was impressed that the highest point on his roadster is lower than the top of the wheel well on the Titan. Told him not to piss me off or I'd park on top of his little $70k car.
