Need advice on using longer shocks w/stock leafs

Ok I bought some Bilstein 5125's to match the lift increase of Deaver C-10's. 2.5"-4.0". I decided not to put the Deaver springs on and I am having trouble finding a buyer for the Bilstein shocks. I want new shocks for the rear anyway so how much trouble would it be to use the longer shocks with the stock leaf springs?

How much are you selling them for? Are they NIB (new in box)? Where did you buy em? Any chance of a return?

Try the buy/sell section?

I listed them on another thread (buy/sell) for 135. Yes they are new, and from PRG.

No trouble at all. The longest stroke shock you are going to be able to use is a 10" shock. And that should suit up to a 3" lift in the back (I think.. might wanna verify that exactly). I know SAW, King, RadFlo and a few others make them. Everyone on here seems to like the PRG/SAW 2.25 body res. shocks. You can get them from Greg at PRG but I am sure you know that already..

Maybe....If the shocks too long it may bottom out before the factory bump stops do...
When the shock is mounted, how much shaft is showing?
How long is the shock?

Re: Need advice on using longer shocks w/stock leafs

I haven't mounted them yet. They are for 2"-4" of lift on a 4wd. I wasn't going to mount them until I heard back from Greg or another equally knowledgeable individual. So you think it will be fine then?

Greg told me the SAW's would work with our factory springs.. The same shocks you are currently running.
