Which One: 6 inch or 4" Performance

I can't decide which one. I know the benefits, but I'm afraid I will won't more lift if I get the 4". If you all had any pics that would be nice too. Thanks!

Went down that road. Did the 4" and was never satisfied. Ended up with the 6". I'll try to dig up some pics.

Overall price, if you don't mind me asking? I'm in the market as well

Re: Which One: 6 inch or 4" Performance

4Wheel Parts: 6" Pro Comp Stage 1 $1368.00 and Toyo Open Country A/T 325-65/18 $1000.00 free mount and balance. Tax and all was around $2700.00. That also includes a $100 warranty on the tires. I went ahead and got the tire warranty because I'm in construction and nails/ screws are a b!@&#! I would have bought from PRG, but 4wheel parts is two blocks from my house. I'm going to do the lift myself just to save a little money.

Good choice! I was wondering the same thing a couple yrs ago. Everyone told me that I'd just want to go higher if I got the 4". Ended up with the PC 6" and it's awesome. (Although, I wouldn't mind being 2-3 inches higher!)

4" Performance Lift

ProComp 6" Lift
That looks awesome. I've been deciding between rancho 4" which is actually around 5" and a 6" kit. With the 4" rancho I cannot use my DR/Icon unless I use aftermarket UCA, with the PC I can. Plus with the picture of your truck, I'm sold on the 6" lift that looks AWESOME bro.

If you have a 2wd you could get the CST 4" spindle, and run the DRE/Icons at 1.5" lift and get the same 5.5" height as a PC stage 1 lift. No aftermarket UCA required. You could even set the preload at 2.5" lift and be an inch taller than the PC stage 1.

Another option, is to flip the DRE/Icon's top mounting hats. I wouldn't suggest it on a 4x4 because there's a bit too much droop, (for hard off road), but it should be somewhat better if you have a 2wd. The reason I had the top hats flipped is the nitrogen fill hole is up under the coil bucket lip, so they must be removed to top them off, but by flipping the hat the fill hole is lowered enough for access.

Flipping the hats is equivalent to a 1.5" measured spacer, or 2.5" of additional lift. I believe this is taller though than a stock or Bilstein HD strut with a 2.5" level kit, so even with a 2wd, you would need PRG UCA and the PRG "stock" adjustable end-links, and you can have over 4", with some preload.

My sig pic, (click on it for a larger view ... btw those are 34" diameter tires), is just over 4" up front, but when jacked up my Total Chaos UCA lay flat against the coil bucket, (after grinding the lips off), but a '06 2wd is allowed 1/2" taller of a "spacer" so should be a little better. Although the DRE/Icon internal droop stop is probably still too low to work. I'm looking into external droop stops, but they require welding. I've read that the newer PRG UCA have more clearance than the Total Chaos, so that would also help.

On road there is just one place that I have "clunk" ... where there are some oak roots that lift the pavement pretty bad. Even off road it's not that bad even with my 4x4, but I don't want any coil bucket contact.

Eventually I want to get the new 2.5" Radflo that PRGproducts carries. They've had them for bracket lifted Titans in both an internal or an external reservoir version for a long time, but Greg says they now have them for the stock application, (stock UCA o.k.), and the extended travel applications, (aftermarket UCA required).

Yeah this is my issue, I'm a 4X4 like you. I'd like to get more of a lift than my DR's provide. I was thinking of the PRG UCA'S with Radflos's external, a block and some C-10 in the back with a PC lift. Big buck there. I might end up with a PC lift and call it a day, but I would still need to replace my front and rear shocks. I dunno what to do. Keep thinking and never pulling the trigger.... hehe

Go Big or Go Home! Pull the trigger! haha... I really wanted to do the Mid Travel, but decided on the 6" instead. I just got a great deal on a set coilovers, so I may still do the M/T in the future.
