Rancho RS9000X for Titan

Rancho communicated to me today that,
"We (Rancho) will have units available for the Nissan Titan at the end of the year. RS9000X are going to be built for the truck. Pricing is not set yet for the units.

This is great news, so we can dial the type of ride we want for the Titan whether it be a soft ride or firm ride for hauling or offroading. I hope if we express more interest to rancho maybe they can release sooner. Contact Rancho at: RanchoExtremeTeam@tenneco-automotive.com

I can wait for Bilsteins or Edelbrocks. Both a much better quality shock, but w/no adjustibility and in-cab dial. Although, I haven't contacted them so I'm not sure if their shocks will fit a Titan.

Talked to Rancho today and they said the coil overs are ahead of schedule. Even though they are told to tell people end of the year, he said to look for them in about 2 months. The 9000X is moving at about the same pace.

This was more encouraging than what I got out of them last month.

It is true though, if we keep inquiring about the coil overs(front end lift) the process moves faster(I'm still resisting the DayStar lift).

I put my email address on their will call list so as soon as they are available, I'll get a message from Rancho.

TrojanDan, I thought Rancho was on par with Bilstein and that Edlbrocks were a little below - but I'm no expert on this. Would you mind expanding on your above "shocks" comments.

From what i understand Bilstein is like top of the line. They were an option to go with my cst lift but after all the money i spent and coudln't really afford them. I hear nothing but great things about them.

Softer ride-hope so-but I doubt it.

I wonder if Rancho will actually have a setting that is "softer" with less compression damping, than stock? My experience with aftermarket shocks on trucks is that they are always stiffer-much stiffer- than stock, and give a really hard around town ride.Folks who buy aftermarket shocks want to be able to "feel" something for their $$$-a firm ride tells them the shocks are "better" than the stockers.Charlie

I'm little dim on the subject of this Rancho adjustable coil-over... Does that mean you can adjust the ride-height (say lower the front end if you have bed-load) or is just the ride that is adjustable? If the ride-height isn't adjustable, then how much height will it give the front end, IOW, will it level the ride?
