Broken Coil Spring Spacer

Yesterday my left front suspension stated to squeak like a s.o. b. Well, I just crawled under the font end and found that there is a light gray spacer (?), that fits around the bottom coil of the spring. Bottom line, it broke in half, and half is gone! Will bring it to dealer on Tuesday. I asked if they had the part, and they said no. I asked if the would order it today, and they said that they had to see it first. This means I will have to drive over 300 miles to have a little piece of plastiv replaced.

Try and buy the part/s over the phone w/ the understanding you'll be reimbursed by the dealer if the part is covered under warranty.
