Removing one leaf to soften ride??

I would like a softer ride(yeah,I know it is a truck, but I like soft).I looked at the leaf spring pack, and it looks like the bottom leaf isn't attached to the other springs, and it would be simple to remove it(yes,I know this is dangerous, violates warranty, and the shock will still be too stiff).Anyone done this?I also noticed that the bottom leaf is curved the other way,and might not even come into play till the bed sinks down quite a bit,so removing it would be useless.Any ideas?Exactly what are these Airbags(adj air springs of some sort?) that the folks who dramatically lower trucks use?I don't really want to lower it much, but an inch or 2 would be ok.Thanks,Charlie MY aim is to get it too handle like a big, softly sprung car-cushy,not sporting.

I would wait for the adjustable Rancho shocks. If that doesn't make you happy, then explore other options.

Ranchos,how long?Compression and rebound?

bestatchess, thanks for the tip.How soon will they be available, and will they be adjustable for compression and rebound damping?
The Titan actually has a pretty decent ride for a truck that stays so flat when turning. My Tundra was a little softer riding, but it swayed like a pig in the most gentle corners. When I put a rear antisway bar on it the sway was dramatically less, but it became a very stiff ride-stiffer than the Titan, but not as flat cornering. Thanks,Charlie

Somebody posted that they are supposed to be out pretty soon. You could contact them and ask.
